Similarly, British Nepalese who had been living in Watford, Hertfordshire since 1997 established the organization called 'Nepalese Community Watford, UK (NCWUK) in 2012. The Nepalese community in Watford, like in many other parts of the UK, is a vibrant and close-knit group.
The primary goal of this organization is to promote and preserve Nepalese culture, traditions, language, and heritage within the community and exchange its legacy with the wider population in Watford. Additionally, this organization actively seeks to promote networks to support its community members, celebrate events and festivals to foster sense of unity among community members, organize fundraising events and charitable programs on a need-basis, organize health awareness campaign for its members and represent the interests of the Nepalese community to local authorities. Last but not the least, engaging and educating younger generation about Nepalese language and traditions and enabling them to be a leader for integrating our cultural legacy to broader Watford community is centre aim of this organization.

                Our Initiatives...

We are dedicated to fostering a sense of unity among the Nepalese community in the United Kingdom through the educational empowerment of our children in matters pertaining to our cultural heritage. Our objective is to commemorate and celebrate the essence of British identity. A significant proportion of our membership, notably our founders, has a background in the British military. Consequently, we engage in an annual ritual of remembrance at Watford Town Hall, paying tribute to every soldier who valiantly participated in the World War.
